Deja Vu All Over Again

A wise man once said that no matter how many baseball games you have seen, the next game you watch will contain something you have never seen before. Well, something strange that happened in today's Dodgers/Nationals game is certainly something I've never seen before.

Here are the inning summaries for the top of the 1st and 3rd innings:

1st Inning
- D. Gordon singled to shallow center
- J. Loney ground rule double to deep left center, D. Gordon to third
- M. Kemp grounded into fielder's choice, D. Gordon out at home, J. Loney to third
- J. Rivera doubled to left, J. Loney and M. Kemp scored
- A. Miles grounded out to pitcher, J. Rivera to third
- J. Sands grounded out to first

3rd Inning
- D. Gordon singled to shallow right
- J. Loney singled to shallow right, D. Gordon to third
- M. Kemp grounded into fielder's choice, D. Gordon out at home, J. Loney to second
- J. Rivera doubled to left, J. Loney and M. Kemp scored
- A. Miles grounded out to second, J. Rivera to third
- J. Sands grounded out to shortstop

No, I did not make a mistake, although they are nearly identical those are two separate inning summaries. Yes I'm sure there have been similar innings within the same game before, but this is ridiculous.
